This past weekend I had the pleasure of going and camping at the Barn House Flea Market. J & J are the most gracious of hosts, and boy do those Barn House Boys know how to put on a show!
There were several of my friends vending (Queen of Tarte, Maison Douce, Antie Joy, A Thing For Roses, The girls of Monticello, Sparrow, Retreat, Duchess... just to name a few!) And the show was spectacular. After these vendors braved a heat wave of almost 100 degrees during setup, it was amazing that their booths were still this spectacular.
This was the creme de la creme in the west coast show circuit I can assure you! That is clearly evident in these photos. It was very difficult to restrain from actually setting up permanent residence there! The Barn HOuse boys worked so incredibly hard, and their efforts did not go unoticed!
Here is a closer look at some of the fabulous goods that were offered.
There were so many booths, and each one offered something unique.
I love how the Barn House Boys really went with a garden theme for this show. Even so far as to add veggies from their own growings into their displays!
This Fancy Farmgirl loves their old Tractor!
Who needs to travel as far as the French Countryside, when you can just go to Battleground, Wa? Both the Barn House and Sparrow made you feel like you were on a holiday in Europe!
King Tarte was questioning why I wasn't taking a photo of the most beautiful thing at the show, so Barry, this one's for you!
actually, the most beautiful thing he brought to the show was this...
His Lovely Queen!
Of Course all of the booths were great, but the most fun at the show was getting in some good quality time with good friends like these...
Barn House Boy Jermonne.
And Barn House Boy Joe.
Maybe next time, Joe, you'll slow down for a mintue and let me take a photo of you with your eyes open!
Beautiful souls Kim and Robin. We spent lots of good quality time together, since I think we were some of the only weekend guests that weren't vending and running around like crazy working! We picked each others brains about photography and life, laughed until it hurt, and then laughed some more. Kim even helped me out when my RV started leaking trannie fluid everywhere, and followed me all the way back home through 5 hours of terrible traffic and a lovely Starbucks visit. These two girls are now friends for life in my book! I loved getting to know you both better and can't wait to see you again!

Furry barn friends...
And eating fabulous food!
The Barn House typically hosts some sort of food contest... this year was best dessert. Take a look at some of the competition, and was it ever close!
Judging is a hard job, but somebody's got to do it, right?
Geez, I wish I had this great a gig!
And the grand prize winner??
Miss Deb, of Ormolulu and her prized strawberry tartlets....
That's just about a wrap for this show, but don't fear, if you missed this one, the Barn House Boys are having a few more shows before the end of the year, as well as The Queen of Tarte is holding her own events this year. Check out their blog links for more details.
I leave you with just a little more from the show, all in all one fabulous weekend!
